Job Description

AECOM is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Global Digital Leader to drive the digital transformation of its Buildings and Places business line. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a global digital strategy that accelerates transformation and delivers growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital solutions creation and delivery, with at least 6 years of leadership experience. They will be well-versed in Buildings and Places technologies, business models, customers, and use cases, and will have experience working with top-tier technology vendors to deliver solutions.

The Global Digital Leader will work closely with the B+P global business line leadership, EC, IT, Global Technical Practices, and regional resources to define, prioritize, and deliver the right digital tools for project teams. They will also collaborate with the Global Digital Consulting Leader to define the digital consulting strategy for the B+P business.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent written and oral communication skills, and will be able to present ideas and influence senior leaders. They will also have a strong ability to work in periods of ambiguity and create clarity for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a global digital strategy that accelerates transformation and delivers growth.
  • Work closely with B+P global business line leadership, EC, IT, Global Technical Practices, and regional resources to define, prioritize, and deliver the right digital tools for project teams.
  • Collaborate with the Global Digital Consulting Leader to define the digital consulting strategy for the B+P business.
  • Develop business cases to justify investment in new digital capabilities.
  • Provide support to business pursuits and CAM teams as required.
  • Present ideas and influence senior leaders.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS plus at least 15 years of relevant experience in digital solutions creation and delivery.
  • At least 6 years of leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Buildings and Places technologies, business models, customers, and use cases.
  • Experience working with top-tier technology vendors to deliver solutions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in periods of ambiguity and create clarity for stakeholders.
