Occupational Therapy Assistant Career Opportunity

An exciting career opportunity has arisen for a skilled Allied Health Occupational Therapy Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in mental health rehabilitation.

About the Role:

  • Assist with therapeutic activities promoting skill development and community connection for consumers
  • Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists to deliver evidence-based practices and interventions
  • Support individualised plans to achieve consumer goals and contribute to a safe and inclusive environment
  • Organise tasks efficiently with sound communication skills and adapt to changing priorities

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent qualification
  • Experience supporting people with mental illness or social disadvantage, including in individual or group settings
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, commitment to ethical care and ability to build rapport with diverse consumers
