About the Role

The Trade Counter team is looking for a skilled and customer-focused individual to provide excellent service and support to plumbers and other tradespeople. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in accessing products for building and renovation projects, ensuring that they have the right tools and materials to complete their tasks efficiently.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing product information, answering queries, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Prepare quotes for customers both in person and over the phone, highlighting the benefits of our products and services.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels, manage inventory, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean branch environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Occasionally deliver products to customers using a company vehicle, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality service.
  • Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends.
