Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our client, Brentwood Trailers Australia Pty Ltd, a leading manufacturer of trailers in NSW. The successful candidate will have a trade qualification in a relevant industry and extensive fabrication experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble aluminium components according to work instructions and drawings from supervisors and production staff.
  • Conduct work in line with standard job builds and SOP.
  • Build jobs as directed by supervisors and production staff, ensuring work is built to appropriate standards and within time constraints.
  • Report broken or damaged machinery, ensuring all problems are tagged out correctly.
  • Weld and fabricate as required and to specifications.
  • Adhere to Company Health and Safety Policies and Government rules.
  • Participate in staff consultation and communications, such as Toolbox Talks and training.
Requirements
  • Trade Qualified in a relevant industry.
  • Health and Safety training is desirable.
  • Extensive fabrication experience.
  • Understanding of Safe Work Practices.
  • Good ability to communicate effectively.
  • Attention to detail.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to lift, carry, and maneuver material and equipment through physical and mechanical means. They will also be required to wear specialized protective equipment and perform general physical activities, including climbing, balancing, sitting, and walking.

The role will involve working at height or within a confined space, and the successful candidate will be required to operate handheld tooling and heavier machinery.
