The Company

AES Scott and Co Pty Ltd, a leading manufacturer of steel sheds for farm machinery and hay, is seeking a skilled Welders/Fabricators to join their team in NSW.

The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Welders/Fabricator to assemble aluminium components, conduct work in line with standard job builds and SOP, and build jobs as directed by supervisors and production staff. The successful candidate will also be responsible for reporting broken or damaged machinery, welding and fabricating as required, and adhering to Company Health and Safety Policies and Government rules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble aluminium components in accordance with work instructions and drawings
  • Conduct work in line with standard job builds and SOP
  • Build jobs as directed by supervisors and production staff
  • Report broken or damaged machinery
  • Weld and fabricate as required
  • Adhere to Company Health and Safety Policies and Government rules
Requirements
  • Trade Qualified in a relevant industry
  • Health and Safety training desirable
  • Extensive fabrication experience
  • Understanding of Safe Work Practices
  • Good ability to communicate effectively
  • Attention to detail
