Infrastructure Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Development Specialist to join our team. As an experienced civil engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of land development and infrastructure-related projects.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have extensive experience in civil engineering, project management, and site supervision. You will be responsible for performing design and project management tasks, preparing civil engineering documentation, and applying civil engineering knowledge to various works.
Key Responsibilities- Project Delivery: Perform design and project management tasks for the delivery of land development and infrastructure-related projects from initiation through to construction.
- Civil Engineering Documentation: Prepare and update civil engineering documentation, including design reports, cost estimates, specifications, tender documentation, programs, and schedules.
- Civil Engineering Knowledge: Apply civil engineering knowledge to various works, which may include engineering drawings, calculations, reports, design criteria, to support engineering projects related to land development and infrastructure.
- Site Supervision: Perform site supervision and quality control inspections of civil infrastructure and land development projects, including adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and Local/State Government standards.
- Contract Administration: Assist in the review of engineering drawings and submittals, responds to requests for information, prepares site observation reports, and performs other contract administration tasks.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years working experience in civil engineering, project management, and/or site supervision of land development and civil infrastructure projects.
- Licenses and Certifications: Engineers Australia Membership or eligibility.
- Skills: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the interpretation and application of relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines; strong technical expertise and ability to produce accurate design documentation; strong written and verbal communication skills; proven experience in time management and organisational skills, including the ability to manage resources and delegate tasks effectively.
