Safety, Health and Environmental Advisor

As a Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our sites are safe and compliant with regulatory requirements.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced SHE professional to work on extensive construction upgrades across our site. You will oversee the coordination of project staff and contractors, ensuring safe methods of work are executed by all personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teams to ensure they are engaged and aligned to SHE strategic priorities.
  • Establish and facilitate systematic approaches to hazard identification and risk assessments.
  • Manage site safety, health and environmental event response and reporting procedures.
  • Participate in compliance assurance activities and lead or participate in formal investigations and specialist inspections.

Requirements:

  • Strong time management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a large and complex organisation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of relevant legislative, regulatory and compliance frameworks and governance requirements.
  • Previous experience in a construction environment is required.
