The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Removal Supervisor to oversee, manage and contribute to all aspects of asbestos removal projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, regulatory requirements and project timelines. This is a hands-on supervisory role and includes Regional VIC travel.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise asbestos removal teams, including assigning tasks, providing guidance and ensuring compliance with safety procedures during the removal of Asbestos.
  • Conduct site assessments and develop asbestos removal plans in accordance with regulatory guidelines and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients and regulatory agencies to ensure clear communication and adherence to project schedules.
  • Monitor work progress and quality to ensure that all removal activities are performed safely and effectively.
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise and implement corrective actions to minimise disruptions and ensure project success.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in asbestos removal.
  • Being able to produce evidence of working on a minimum 6 removal projects in the past 2 years is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of asbestos regulations, including OSHA, EPA and state-specific requirements.
  • Current asbestos supervisor certification/license (preferred).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and interact with clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and White card essential.
  • High Risk Work License/EWP license - Preferable or ability to obtain.
  • Working at Heights - Preferable or ability to obtain.
  • Working with Children Check – Preferable or ability to obtain.
