The role of a Member Support Consultant is multifaceted and varied. They are responsible for interacting with prospective members, inspiring them to begin their wellness journey and helping thousands of people become faster, fitter, stronger and happier versions of themselves.

The Opportunity

As a key figure in building and maintaining a thriving membership base, the Member Support Consultant plays an essential role in the success of the organization. This individual is responsible for achieving membership growth goals through proactive sales activities and retaining existing members through exceptional customer service.

The Member Support Consultant has two clear goals: they must achieve the required number of lead contacts via telephone to maximise sales opportunities and provide sales presentations and tours to prospective members. In addition, they must create great member journeys via positive and personalised interactions, resulting in successful outcomes to enquiries.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to build rapport with people from varied walks of life and possess outstanding communication abilities - able to listen, understand, empathise and influence others. Tenacity and a natural drive to achieve individual targets and team goals are also essential qualities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to club sales by utilising sales promotions and referrals campaigns
  • Generate and convert high-quality sales leads through community outreach and seeking referrals
  • Achieve the required number of lead contacts via telephone to maximise sales opportunities
  • Provide sales presentations and tours to prospective members
  • Design and deliver effective training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing members to increase retention rates
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports as required

Requirements:

First Aid & CPR certificates; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment; strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
