About the Role

Are you passionate about creating software releases that meet user needs and exceed expectations? Do you have experience in Agile delivery environments and a solid foundation in IT Service Management or Release Management? We're seeking a talented individual to join our Technology Operations team as a Release Engineer.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in working with our business and supporting engineering services to digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, reliable, and efficient release processes.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Assist in planning and coordinating releases across Agile sprints or program increments by ensuring all release artifacts are ready.">
  • Execute deployments to non-production and production environments according to approved plans.">
  • Maintain environment readiness and coordinate with DevOps and infrastructure teams.">
  • Contribute to the implementation and improvement of automated deployment pipelines.">

Your Requirements

We're looking for someone with a strong background in IT, computer science, or a related field, complemented by certifications in IT Service Management or Release Management. Experience in software release or deployment roles within an Agile delivery environment is highly valued.

You should also possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.">
  • Certification in IT Service Management or Release Management.">
  • Experience in CI/CD and version control tools.">
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.">
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code practices.">
