Remote Supermarket Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced retail manager to oversee the successful operation of a supermarket in a remote First Nations community. This role involves managing a team, delivering on our nutrition policy, and working with local stakeholders to meet community needs.

About the Role
  • Manage the successful operation of a supermarket in a remote community
  • Train and mentor local team members
  • Deliver on our nutrition policy
  • Work with merchandising, nutrition, and local stakeholders to meet community needs

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' retail management experience (mandatory)
  • Experience using electronic retail systems for stock control, point of sale, and staff management
  • Certificate III in Retail or willingness to obtain within 12 months
  • Ability to manage unique challenges of remote communities, including limited resources, unpredictable supply chains, and cultural considerations
