**Job Summary**

Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane is seeking a skilled and friendly Guest Service Agent to join our front office team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Greet and welcome all guests, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome to our hotel.
  • Process guest registrations, including check-in and check-out, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle guest queries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Liaise closely with all departments in the hotel, particularly Housekeeping and Food & Beverage, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Assist with after-hours reservation enquiries, providing timely and accurate information to guests.
  • Report guest complaints and initiate solutions, following empowerment guidelines to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Liaise with Housekeeping regarding early departures, extensions, or late checkouts, ensuring smooth communication and service delivery.
  • Deliver guest amenities, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Provide guests with an accurate and efficient checkout, ensuring hospitality standards are followed.
  • Balance all transactions at the end of shift, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience working in a similar environment for a minimum of 6 months.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in hotel management systems.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional manner.
  • Friendly, personable, and outgoing personality, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across different departments throughout the hotel.
  • Committed to providing superior customer service, with a focus on guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
