About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant on a casual/part time basis to present and deliver high quality nutritious meals to our residents.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assistance in meal preparation and serving, making tea and coffee, assisting chefs with food prep when required, working to achieve and maintain a high standard of cleanliness, checking and recording temperature of food, following all Food Safety Guidelines and HACCP program, and assisting with deliveries of stock and stock rotation.

About You

The ideal candidate will be a team player who enjoys interacting with older people and has the right heart and drive to serve. Previous kitchen/servery experience in a similar role is essential, as well as an understanding of work health and safety practices.
