Tunnel Engineer Role Overview

As a key player in our tunnel engineering team, you will be part of exciting large-scale projects in Queensland or New South Wales offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex packages of work for tunnel projects, including concrete structure design, ground structure interaction design, segment line design, and finite element analysis.
  • Collaborate with the drafting team to oversee package drawing production.
  • Represent the team in multi-disciplinary design meetings and communicate effectively with clients and design partners.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team.
Requirements:
  • Experience managing projects or packages of work in multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with drafters & designers, project teams, and clients.
  • Leadership skills with ability to mentor, develop, and coach others.
  • Able to challenge status quo and encourage innovation, continuous improvement, and critical thinking.
