Sales Administrator – Customer Service Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised professional to join our sales and service operations team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working collaboratively and takes pride in delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Order Processing: Accurately process sales orders, purchase orders, invoices, and delivery updates in a timely manner.
  • Customer Service: Handle inbound customer enquiries and make outbound service calls as needed to ensure seamless communication.
  • Transport Coordination: Coordinate transport and scheduling for outgoing orders to meet customer deadlines.
  • Order Monitoring: Monitor overdue orders and update due dates to prevent delays.
  • Estimating and Quoting: Prepare estimates and quotes in line with pricing policies to support sales efforts.
  • Stock Management: Liaise with warehouse and internal teams to manage stock levels and order accuracy.
  • Administration Support: Provide general administration support across the business and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.

What You'll Bring:

  • Administrative Experience: Proven experience in administration and/or internal customer service roles.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-focused mindset and excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
  • Communication: Confident communication and solid time management capabilities to meet deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) at an intermediate level.
  • Data Entry: High level of accuracy in data entry and administrative work.
  • ERP Systems: Familiarity with ERP systems (training provided for suitable candidates).
