Job Overview

Cumberland City Council serves a diverse community of over 245,000 residents. Our team focuses on public space planning and design, environment and resource recovery, and planning systems.

We are seeking a Graduate Landscape Architect to join our Public Spaces Design team. As a graduate landscape architect, you will work on designing sustainable open spaces and facilities, assisting in preparing landscape plans and detailed drawings using design applications like AutoCAD/Vectorworks and Adobe CC.

About the Role
  • Degree or diploma qualified in landscape architecture or equivalent experience in an allied field.
  • Ability to prepare landscape plans and detailed drawings.
  • Demonstrated skills in preparing landscape design documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
Requirements
  • The right to live and work in Australia.
  • Ability to provide information for pre-employment checks required for the position.
  • Participation in health monitoring as outlined in the risk assessment for this position and Council's Health Monitoring Procedure, as required.
