Job Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Graduate Landscape Architect to join our team and contribute to the design of sustainable and fit-for-purpose open spaces.

This is a full-time contract position for up to three years, with a 70 hour fortnight and access to Council's 9 day fortnight Accrued Day Off (ADO).

  • About This Role
  • This role involves designing and developing open spaces and facilities that meet the needs of the community.
  • You will be responsible for preparing landscape plans and detailed drawings, as well as providing technical landscape and urban design advice.
  • The successful applicant will have a degree or diploma in landscape architecture or equivalent, and/or relevant industry experience in an allied field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop open spaces and facilities that meet the needs of the community.
  • Prepare landscape plans and detailed drawings.
  • Provide technical landscape and urban design advice.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and provide technical support as needed.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in landscape architecture or equivalent.
  • Relevant industry experience in an allied field.
  • Ability to prepare landscape plans and detailed drawings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

What We Offer

A competitive salary range of $1,376.59 to $1,686.33 per week, plus 12% superannuation.
