Our client is a leading financial services company seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the development of business lending and medical finance solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial industry, particularly in lending products for businesses and the healthcare sector, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for business lending and medical finance solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, regulatory requirements, and customer pain points to shape product features and enhancements.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market trends in business lending and medical finance.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Write clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria based on customer needs, industry regulations, and business goals.
  • Regularly review and refine the backlog in response to market changes, customer feedback, and team capacity.
  • Work closely with development, design, and quality assurance teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within scope.
  • Engage with business stakeholders, including finance, compliance, legal, and marketing teams, to ensure seamless delivery and product adoption.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience as a Product Owner in the financial services sector, specifically with a focus on business lending and medical finance.
  • Strong background in developing or managing lending products for businesses and healthcare organizations.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and with Scrum teams.
  • Familiarity with loan origination systems, credit scoring models, and lending workflows.
  • Experience with regulatory and compliance requirements in business lending and medical finance.
  • Proficiency in using product management tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
