Product Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Head of Product & Strategy to develop and execute the product strategy for Franklin Templeton Australia.
  • Lead product strategy initiatives to design and develop new investment products for the Australian market.
  • Project manage the implementation of key product development and product management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with client-facing distribution teams to ensure the success of Franklin Templeton investment products in the Australian retail, wholesale, and institutional channels.
  • Utilize various reporting tools, market analysis, and competitor information to inform product design, implementation, and strategy.
  • Build and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders within Australia and the global Franklin Templeton business to support the product strategy.
  • Assist in managing ongoing regulatory requirements to ensure Franklin Templeton investment products remain compliant.
  • Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of relevant product policies, frameworks, and governance structures.
Requirements:
  • Relevant bachelor's degree qualification.
  • 5+ years of experience in related product management or product development roles.
  • Experience in managing the implementation of product development and product management projects.
  • Ability to interpret multiple sources of internal and external feedback, market data, and information to inform new product design.
  • Experience working with relevant product, compliance, and other governance committees.
  • Detailed and current knowledge of investment products, financial markets, operations, and legislative requirements.
  • Experience in an investment management, superannuation, or platform business.
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • RG 146 compliance.
