Maintenance Fitters Sought

Synaco Global Recruitment is actively recruiting skilled Maintenance Fitters to augment their client's workforce in a quarry environment.

This role ensures continuity due to a steady workflow. You'll join a high-performing team, contributing significantly to their ongoing success.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on quarry machinery, such as crushers, mobile earthmoving equipment, and vehicles.
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to prioritize and plan repair and maintenance work.
  • Assisting in maintaining accurate documentation of maintenance activities and equipment conditions.
  • Contributing to the training and development of maintenance staff to enhance equipment reliability and resolve recurring issues on site.
  • Engaging in the fabrication and welding of new and replacement parts.
  • Executing gas cutting, gas welding, arc welding, and MIG welding tasks.
  • Adhering to safety regulations and company policies.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold a valid trade certificate as a fitter, diesel mechanic, boilermaker, or a related field.
  • Have experience with the maintenance and repair of crushing and screening equipment.
  • Be experienced in planning and executing preventative maintenance, including creating maintenance schedules.
  • Have skills in fabrication and welding.
  • Be proficient in troubleshooting and addressing breakdown repairs.
  • Have a strong commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing hazards.
