Accor Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Ibis Styles Sydney Central. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the hotel's maintenance operations, including preventative, predictive, and reactive works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the hotel's building, plant, equipment, fixtures, and fittings using safe working practices.
  • Protect the asset and ensure it remains a functional, pleasant, and safe environment for all customers.
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working on the maintenance of hotels, fixed plant, or equipment systems.
  • Relevant license certification.
  • Trade qualification within the construction industry (preferable).
  • Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance strategies.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a small team.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
  • Flexibility with shifts.
