About The Role

As a Maintenance Technician at The Star Entertainment Group, you will be working alongside a large team within our Property Operations department. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that ensures the smooth operation of our Sydney property.

Responsibilities
  • General Maintenance: You will perform general maintenance, repair work, and cleaning duties for furniture, fittings, and equipment.
  • Preventative Assessments: Conduct preventative assessments and maintenance on gaming and other equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Cleanliness of Plant Rooms: Maintain the cleanliness of plant rooms and other Facilities Department spaces.
  • Assisting Maintenance Technicians: Assist the Maintenance Technicians in their daily duties as required.
Requirements
  • Rotating Roster: Ability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays as required.
  • Technical Experience: Previous experience in a technical, industrial building, or construction environment as a trade assistant.
  • Effective Communication: Effective communication skills and a strong passion for teamwork.
  • Building Services Knowledge: Knowledge of building services and ability to work unsupervised.
