About This Role

This Therapeutic Practice Coordinator position offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people and communities.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver trusted advice on practice and behavior support planning, ensuring alignment with best practice in trauma-informed care.
  • Promote Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) and offer training packages tailored to the needs of the area.
  • Provide post-crisis support to front-line team members and operational leaders following critical incidents.
  • Facilitate case review functions at a local level, providing recommendations and expertise in care planning.
  • Represent the voice of the young people in our care through annual surveys, team meetings, and site visits.
  • Consult on intakes and referrals, including risk assessments and supporting the team.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, Social Work, or related discipline or Diploma of Community Services (or related discipline) and minimum 2 years relevant experience.
  • Values-based, professional, and trusted advisor.
  • People-focused and solution-focused, with excellent communication skills.
