As a Supply Chain Optimization Expert, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations.

About the Role
  • Collaborate with procurement managers and buyers to source products from diverse suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
  • Oversee the management of manufacturing and delivery processes to meet targets and optimize resources
  • Plan and implement logistical strategies to improve product storage, handling, and distribution
  • Utilize computer software to track goods from origin to delivery and monitor performance metrics
  • Develop forecasts and inventories, maintaining accurate records and analyzing performance data
  • Manage costs while maintaining quality standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Maintain awareness of supply chain activities and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Lead and motivate a team of supply chain professionals to achieve organizational goals
  • Improve overall supply chain performance by identifying innovations and best practices
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure seamless collaboration
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could affect or interrupt the supply chain
  • Consider environmental impact to meet sustainability targets and reduce carbon footprint
  • Support anti-slavery initiatives in supply chains and promote ethical business practices
  • Implement new technologies and stay up-to-date with industry trends to drive continuous improvement
