Primero is seeking a highly skilled Senior Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Advisor to lead our team's HSE initiatives.
About the Position- Direct and control activities under your influence to ensure compliance with health, safety, environment, and quality expectations.
- Undertake daily HSE inspections and observations on site.
- Deliver HSE topics in weekly toolbox and daily prestart sessions.
- Support fitness for work requirements and daily welfare checks.
- Coach and guide HSRs in legislative HSE requirements.
- Assist with risk assessments (JHAs, Permits).
- Maintain HSE notice boards.
- Certificate IV in Work, Health, and Safety (minimum requirement)
- Minimum 3+ years' experience within the construction industry
- Demonstrated site experience in a similar role
- Hold a current Provide First Aid/CPR certificate
- Experienced with Incident Investigation Training (ICAM/Tap Root)
- Holds a OHS Construction Induction White/Blue Card
- Demonstrate the Right to Work in Australia
- Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol Screen
