Hotel Duty Manager Job

As a Hotel Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Front Desk team, ensuring seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure. This role involves coordinating guest arrivals and departures, providing exceptional customer service, and attending to Reception duties such as check-ins, check-outs, account settlements, and guest inquiries.

This key leadership position requires a highly skilled and passionate individual with excellent leadership skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle complex issues under pressure. The successful candidate will have at least 12 months of experience as an Assistant Manager/Duty Manager in a similar property, along with a strong passion for delivering exceptional results.

The Hotel Duty Manager will play a crucial role in implementing smart business solutions while maintaining adaptability in managing employee relationships. You will assist with training and developing the front office team, effectively communicating with all departments of the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction is consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective coordination and supervision of all guest arrivals and departures;
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to all guests and handling guest complaints with patience and professionalism;
  • Attending to Reception duties such as check-ins, check-outs, account settlements, and guest inquiries;
  • Effectively communicating with all departments of the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction is consistently achieved;
  • Liaising with Reservation & Sales team regarding any changes in arrivals, departures, groups, and VIPs;
  • Assisting with the training and development of the front office team.
