About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team/Room Leader to join our team at Ngala Early Learning Claremont. As a Team/Room Leader, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality child-focused care to children 0-6 years old and ensuring that our Educators adhere to all policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Early Childhood Educators to deliver child-focused care and ensure Educators adhere to policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the development of the Early Childhood Curriculum and plan and implement accordingly
  • Support the development of Educators through supervision, mentoring, and leading by example
  • Work collaboratively with the Centre Coordinator to ensure the smooth operation of the Centre
Requirements
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the development and learning of children 0-6 years old
  • Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS)
  • Willingness to complete a current First Aid certificate, including asthma and anaphylaxis
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and self-learning to achieve the best outcomes for children
  • High level of verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
