Aurecon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Process Engineer to join our NSW & ACT Water Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of water, wastewater, and/or recycled water treatment solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead complex water and wastewater projects across the entire lifecycle, including planning, options development, design, and construction.
- Champion delivery of sustainable and Future Ready water infrastructure projects, focusing on innovation, circular economy, and carbon net zero.
- Develop and maintain strong internal and external networks, and lead business development opportunities, including tender responses.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Apply your communication and people leadership skills to lead effective conversations with clients and stakeholders to solve complex issues in a technically-sound and commercially viable manner.
- Hands-on experience in Process Engineering in the water industry, ideally in water and wastewater treatment, recycled and/or advanced treatment.
- Strong knowledge in treatment planning, design, and design management.
- Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering or similar, with at least 7-10 years' experience in a similar role, and ideally a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia.
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management experience, a can-do attitude, and importantly, a strong team player who works well in an agile and collaborative environment.
