Lead/Associate Process Engineer – Water Treatment

Transforming Water Infrastructure

Aurecon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead/Associate Process Engineer to join our NSW & ACT Water Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of water, wastewater, and/or recycled water treatment solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex water and wastewater projects across the entire lifecycle, including planning, options development, design, and construction.
  • Champion delivery of sustainable and Future Ready water infrastructure projects, focusing on innovation, circular economy, and carbon net zero.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal and external networks, leading business development opportunities, including tender responses.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Apply your communication and people leadership skills to lead effective conversations with clients and stakeholders to solve complex issues.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in Process Engineering in the water industry, ideally in water and wastewater treatment, recycled, and/or advanced treatment.
  • Strong knowledge in treatment planning, design, and design management.
  • Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia or equivalent.
  • At least 7-10 years' experience in a similar role.
