Implementation and Activation Lead - Performance Strategist

Role Overview

The Implementation and Activation Lead - Performance Strategist leads the team's implementation planning and buying across social media, search, programmatic advertising, and e-commerce channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directs the overall strategy and workflow for the client team.
  • Ensures excellence in implementation planning and buying.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders and reports regularly.
  • Reviews team training needs and ensures career plans align with progression.
Client Focus
  • Understands client challenges, objectives, and initiatives.
  • Builds strong and enduring client relationships at a senior level.
  • Provides innovative strategic insights by acting as an expert on the client's business, industry, and competitors.
Product Knowledge
  • Engages with media partners to understand the media landscape and core media principles across touchpoints.
  • Works with media and platform partners to develop strong relationships and understand offerings relevant to clients.
  • Maintains platform certifications (search, display, mobile, video, commerce).
  • Uses data to provide insights for client teams and other channels.
Growth and Marketing
  • Collaborates with management to identify and showcase examples of great work.
  • Contributes to awards entries and thought leadership across the agency's assets.
Requirements
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Passion for search, social, programmatic, e-commerce, data, and technology with extensive agency experience.
  • Strong and up-to-date knowledge of the media landscape and ability to forecast trends and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
