Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Develop and implement financial management systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with government legislation, directives, and accounting standards.

Requirements
  • Financial Literacy: Demonstrated financial literacy skills, including a working knowledge of government budget and financial policies and processes.
  • Leadership Experience: A strong track record of achievement in developing and maintaining effective financial management processes, preferably in a government environment.
  • Education and Certification: A Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or a related discipline, and membership of either CPA Australia or the Institute of Chartered Accountants or other relevant organization.
