We are seeking an Early Childhood Educator to join our dynamic team at YMCA Hilliard Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service in Alexandra Hills. As an educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to primary school children before and after school, as well as during school holiday periods.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and caring individual who is passionate about working with children. As an OSHC Educator, you will be responsible for:

  • Caring for children in a safe and supportive environment
  • Developing and implementing engaging programs that promote social, emotional, and intellectual growth
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

About the Service

The YMCA Hilliard OSHC Service is located on the premise of Hilliard State School and is licensed for up to 90 children. Our service boasts a large exclusive playground and outdoor space, inspiring educators to provide creative programs and activities that nurture curiosity and foster social, emotional, and intellectual development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or a related field
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • A Positive Notice Blue Card
