Job Title:
Operations Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Branch Operations Coordinator. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day management of our Albany depot.

About the Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating and directing our heavy ridge fleet, managing the day-to-day operations of the local Ridge fleet (4 trucks), ensuring smooth and efficient coordination. You will also schedule and monitor fleet movements to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective freight distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the local Ridge fleet (4 trucks)
• Schedule and monitor fleet movements to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective freight distribution
• Support loading and unloading activities alongside the team to maintain workflow and timelines
• Perform administrative tasks, including handling operational errors and correcting discrepancies
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and timely responses

Requirements:
• Previous experience in a similar position (transport and logistics experience is desirable)
• Knowledge of TMS System's desirable
• Understanding of and experience with tracking and processing system as well as scheduling and maintaining accurate records
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
