Job Overview

Our organization is seeking a seasoned Transportation Operations Leader to lead our fleet operations in Perth, Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance standards, overseeing vehicle servicing, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure reliability and safety of vehicles and equipment.
  • Manage vehicle servicing and repair schedules to minimize downtime and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of fleet vehicles to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain the fleet livery to the highest standards.
  • Manage the acquisition, disposal, and replacement of fleet vehicles, considering financial efficiency and optimal timing.
  • Oversight accident repair management and ensure swift resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Transportation Operations Leader or in a similar role focused on transportation and logistics.
  • Strong mechanical expertise and understanding of modern vehicle systems and electronics.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in fleet management software and systems.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience managing a diverse fleet, including trucks, trailers, and specialized machinery.
