POSITION OVERVIEW

In this role, you will motivate your team to achieve excellence across all aspects of the store. You will lead, develop, and inspire your team to maximize store profitability, surpass performance indicators, and grow the JD Sports brand. All while delivering an internationally recognized, top-tier service experience for our customers.

BUSINESS ACUMEN AND DEVELOPMENT

  • Ensure that sales objectives and performance indicators are met or exceeded.
  • Enhance store profitability through strategic planning and analysis of sales performance.
  • Drive business growth by analyzing sales data and understanding customer preferences.
  • Implement effective Visual Merchandising to present products in a way that attracts and engages customers.

ADAPTABILITY AND RESILIENCE

  • Ability to adjust to evolving processes and procedures in a rapidly growing business environment.
  • Confidence to make swift decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Manage multiple priorities including team management, sales targets, promotional campaigns, visual merchandising, inventory management, and marketing.
  • Delegate tasks to other managers to focus on areas requiring your attention.
  • Oversee the Back of House operations, ensuring adherence to stock management and processing procedures.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Inspire and motivate your team to perform at their best every day.

  • Effectively manage employee performance through training and support.
