We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Analyst to join our collaborative tax team, contributing to the full spectrum of Australian tax including compliance, advisory, and related tasks.
About the Position- Preparing returns for income tax, BAS, FBT and managing associated payments is essential for this role.
- You will be responsible for assisting with tax provisions, reporting, and forecasting, as well as supporting CbC reporting, audits, and tax investigations.
- Developing and implementing effective tax strategies to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Collaborating with external advisors to drive tax process improvements and enhance business outcomes.
- Liaising with stakeholders to provide timely and accurate tax information, ensuring seamless integration with business operations.
- A minimum of 4-6 years' experience in Australian tax gained from working in the tax practice of a Big 4/mid-tier accounting firm or other relevant corporate tax role.
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting or Law (Taxation) is required.
- CA or CPA qualified.
- Strong research, writing and analytical skills with a focus on developing these further.
- A collaborative and innovative approach to work.
- Ability to think critically and develop new ideas to drive business success.
