Sports Focused OOSH 2IC

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic educator to lead our sports club at Maroubra Bay Public School.

This permanent part-time position offers flexibility for working from home between service times. You will report to our Director of Service and assist in delivering an outstanding sports program as part of our before, after, and holiday care programs.

  • BSC: 7am to 9am
  • ASC: 2pm to 6pm
  • Admin: 4 hours

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building relationships with schools and partners, planning and delivering enriching sports experiences, fostering fun relationships with children and families, and leading a team of educators.

About the Role

You will mainly focus on helping to deliver sports activities while assisting with the delivery of some of our other themed clubs. The role involves enjoying autonomy to plan and deliver engaging sports programs, leading a team of educators, and contributing to the development of our programs.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who loves sports and kids, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a can-do attitude. Previous experience running a Before and After School Care program is preferred but not essential.
