About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Asset Management Leader to join our team at Capstone Recruitment. As an Executive Manager of Asset Optimization, you will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end strategic asset management process, ensuring innovation and excellence across asset programs and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement organizational strategic asset management policies, processes, and procedures to optimize the Council's asset portfolio and investment decisions.
  • Lead a dynamic team of professionals, fostering collaborative engagement and a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Develop and embed Total Expenditure (TOTEX) end-to-end asset planning and management, partnering with central finance and business services.
  • Provide strategic advice and recommendations on asset management to inform and guide Council's decision-making and prioritization.
  • Design and lead a risk-based approach, ensuring clear demonstration of risk exposure and management controls.
  • Drive innovation and inspire change, delivering ongoing excellence across the division and organization.
