As a UX Researcher, you will play a crucial role in uncovering user needs and driving the creation of exceptional products that resonate with our customers.

About the Role

  • You will lead research initiatives to discover problems, define solutions, and validate concepts and prototypes with our customers.

  • You will demonstrate a deep understanding of different research methods, their strengths, and limitations, and know when and how to apply them at each stage of the product lifecycle.

  • You will utilise quantitative data analysis and statistical techniques as part of a mixed methods approach.

  • You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align research efforts with broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and facilitate workshops, user research sessions, stakeholder interviews, and research critique sessions.

  • Translate research insights into strategic recommendations to inform product strategy and decision-making.

  • Exhibit highly developed analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.

  • Communicate research insights effectively to diverse audiences including senior stakeholders across the organisation.

  • Mentor designers and research practitioners, providing guidance on research best practices and inspiring and motivating others.

The Ideal Candidate

  • You have a proven track record of experience practising design research, predominately qualitative approaches for problem validation, foundational research, and strategic research projects.

  • You have an impressive background leading design research methodologies, including facilitating workshops with stakeholders and/or customers and using various ideation techniques.

  • You possess well-developed analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.

  • You have excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to build relationships across different levels in the organisation, as well as with our B2B customers.

  • You have strong communication skills to drive impact and effective influencing.
