Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Product Innovation Strategist to spearhead product development initiatives for the 4X4 & Cooper segment. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to drive growth, innovation, and excellence in product management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Innovation Strategy Definition: Develop and execute comprehensive innovation strategies for the 4X4 & Cooper segments, leveraging market analytics and data-driven insights to inform Goodyear's strategic direction.

  • Innovation Strategy Execution: Collaborate with Enterprise Project Leaders to drive projects through the PCP-Gate process by defining performance targets, identifying areas of superiority vs. competition, and providing robust business rationale.

  • New Product Launch: Partner with the Design Marketing team to prepare communication master packages with product-related data for the 4X4 & Cooper segments and projects.

  • Product Superiority: Identify points of superiority and parity vs. the competition to inform innovation strategies and drive data-based decisions, define and analyze performance and portfolio requirements, and kick-off gap closure plans.

Country Product Portfolio Management

  • You will define what, when, and how products will be introduced in ANZ markets, ensuring a simpler, superior, and efficient portfolio.
  • You will identify coverage gaps in existing portfolios of ANZ markets via data-driven and market-back analytics.
  • You will reduce portfolio complexity and increase share of flagship portfolio demand in ANZ markets, in line with recommendations from regional product portfolio managers.

Cross-Regional and Global Initiatives

  • You will support and govern special projects triggered by regional offices and Product Directors; conduct constant market and competitive analysis for designated areas of responsibility, collaborating with other regional functions to achieve corporate targets.
  • You will collaborate with other Product Managers to consolidate data and present joint input for Product Directors on requested topics.
  • You will undertake business trips to local markets to closely collaborate and check performance and 'situation on the ground' in designated areas of responsibility.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record of driving innovation and growth in product development.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
