Job Overview

The National Seafood Manager - Commercial role is a key business leadership position responsible for identifying and driving national buying opportunities in the fresh and frozen seafood segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of national seafood category, including frozen and fresh segments
  • Management of contracts and strategic partnerships with suppliers
  • Development and execution of procurement strategies to drive sales and margin growth
  • Identification of profit improvement initiatives and provision of market information on raw material supply, product availability, and pricing
  • Leadership and direction to internal stakeholders and sales teams, as well as management of key seafood accounts and projects

Requirements:

  • Experience in purchasing and effective decision making
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of operations, production, and supply chain of the seafood industry
