Job Overview

The AFP is seeking a skilled Data Engineer/Platform Administrator to join its Technology branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the SAS Platform through first-level platform administration, building complex data pipelines using SAS toolsets, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure business intelligence reporting meets executive needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain the SAS Platform through patching, testing, monitoring, and fault checking.
  • Perform complex system administration, including troubleshooting and resolving SAS Firefly problems.
  • Determine security requirements from business teams and implement appropriate models.
  • Create technical Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Present technical changes in relevant forums.
  • Validate SAS ETL and analytical outputs to ensure quality control.
