Job Description

As a seasoned data platform expert, you will spearhead the delivery of a critical data project within a large and complex government environment. This pivotal role focuses on managing the implementation and expansion of enterprise data platform capabilities, enabling informed decision-making through scalable, secure, and modern infrastructure.

  • Collaborate with technical leads to define and manage project plans, schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Engage with stakeholders across internal business units and partner agencies to drive delivery of project outcomes.
  • Manage project budgets in collaboration with strategic finance teams, including tracking of actuals and forecasting.
  • Provide regular program board reporting and prepare briefing notes for executive stakeholders.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning, and reviews.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential skills include:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering data platform implementation and expansion projects in complex environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage both detail and strategic outcomes.
  • Proven experience applying Agile and DevOps methodologies in project delivery.
  • Highly effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
