We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Consultant to join our team at Fairmont Homes.

As a Design Consultant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients through their selection process, including interior and external design options.

You will be responsible for providing exceptional design and selection experiences, aligned with our clients' plans and inclusions. This will involve developing effective relationships with key stakeholders across the business and ensuring the selections process is integrated accurately and timely into the pre-construction process.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of interior design principles, with experience in cabinetry design being highly desirable. You will also have excellent organisational, planning and interpersonal skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in a selections role in the housing and construction industry
  • Demonstrated experience and strong knowledge in interior design
  • Understanding of the building and construction industry and construction processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
