Wellness Strategist

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement student wellbeing strategies through a team of qualified counsellors and welfare officers.
- Drive organisational change by developing positive relationships and networks within and external to the Institute.
- Provide authoritative mental health information, advice and direction to stakeholders.
- Structure the operations of the counselling and welfare teams to support Institute objectives.
- Manage the development and delivery of psychosocial, emotional intelligence, mental health literacy, team building and resilience programs to students.
About the Role:
The Student Wellbeing Department champions the health, safety and wellbeing of Holmesglen students. The Student Wellbeing Manager provides strategic leadership in the development and delivery of high-quality clinical counselling and welfare assistance to support student wellbeing and success.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Postgraduate qualifications in psychology or counselling, or related mental health discipline.
- Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA), Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) or Australian Counselling Association (ACA) or Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).
- Currently working towards or registered as a Clinical Supervisor.
