We are seeking a seasoned Product Strategist to join our team.
About the RoleThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with engineers and scoping technical work, rather than doing heavy visual design. The Product Strategist will directly collaborate with engineers during the development cycle, coordinating in-flight work, demo reviewing work completed, and owning team delivery.
- They will work with engineers to break down complex technical tasks into smaller, deliverable pieces and prepare ticket requirements.
- The Product Strategist will attend team meetings to clarify scope, test ideas, and collect feedback.
- They will establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
- Contributing to release notes.
- Monitoring production support for issues raised by customer support teams, performing triage, and ticketing up fixes if required.
To be successful as a Product Strategist, you should have:
- Experience working closely with product managers and engineers to plan, prioritise, and deliver work, or previously worked as a product owner.
- Proficiency in Figma, creating UI libraries and design systems, and a solid understanding of UX/UI best practices.
- Experience in web app and/or mobile app design.
- Familiarity with AI tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting deadlines. Can resourcefully solve problems, and is able to make pragmatic trade-offs while taking into account the end strategic goal.
