The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Projects, Energy and Infrastructure team based in Melbourne.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with industry-leading partners and work on a range of projects across sectors including renewable energy, power, mining, transport, and water. You will engage with clients in established and emerging markets across Australia, Asia Pacific, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial structuring and procurement strategy development to drafting and negotiating various agreements.

You will have the chance to work on pioneering projects and with clients who are at the forefront of the energy transition.

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience with construction and infrastructure projects, focusing on contract review, interpretation, and negotiation.
  • An excellent academic record combined with strong legal skills and a practical mindset.
  • First-class attention to detail and the ability to comprehend intricate legal matters.
  • A proactive approach and a desire to be an integral member of our leading team.
  • Capability to work effectively within tight timeframes, both collaboratively and autonomously.
