Northern Beaches Hospital, a 490 bed facility operated by Healthscope, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wardsperson Supervisor to lead and motivate their staff in the Guest Services department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and allocating workload for the team, ensuring staff provide excellent customer service, and identifying and reporting hazards. They will also be responsible for daily hands-on support to the team, motivating and supporting staff, and ensuring hospital equipment is well kept and clean to meet infection control requirements.

The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience within the healthcare or hospitality industry, knowledge of National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards & EQuIPNational, Work Health and Safety, Infection Prevention and Control standards, and Waste management. They will also possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, as well as impeccable attention to detail.

The successful candidate will work 76 hours/fortnight and must have availability to work Monday to Friday between 7am to 3pm. They will also be required to provide a current National Police check and a NSW Working with Children's Check prior to appointment.

Key Responsibilities:
