We are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and services. As a Wardsperson Supervisor, you will be part of our multidisciplinary team working towards a common goal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Workforce Planning: Plan and allocate workload for your team, including preparation of tasks lists and work schedules for 25-30 staff members.
  • Daily Support: Provide daily hands-on support to your team on the floor.
  • Customer Service: Ensure staff provide excellent customer service, employ safe work practices, manual handling techniques, and identify/report hazards.
  • Motivation and Training: Motivate, support, and train staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure hospital equipment is well-maintained and clean, meeting infection control requirements.
  • Maintenance Scheduling: Schedule preventative maintenance and ensure accountability.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with third-party suppliers and stakeholders.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, make a meaningful impact, and work collaboratively with a dedicated team.

Northern Beaches Hospital is a 490-bed facility operated by Healthscope, providing acute medical, surgical, and mental health care to Sydney's Northern Beaches.
