About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Specialist to drive the growth, development, and management of our Pinnacle Portfolio for Endeavour Group across Beer, Cider, Spirits, and RTDs. This role will involve driving sales, gross profit, and penetration of the Pinnacle Own brand portfolio within our Retail brands; Dan Murphy's and BWS, alongside other channels like Shorty's, Marketplace, and external partners.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Engaging with Domestic and International suppliers/producers/co-packers to develop the Own Brand and Partner brands portfolio.
  • Improving and optimising the commercial viability of the range using their understanding of manufacturing.
  • Portfolio building/sourcing/developing of the own brand portfolio.
  • Managing the New Product Development pipeline, identifying new product opportunities.
  • Upgrading the existing portfolio while engaging with supply partners and working end-to-end with internal stakeholders.
  • Identifying and engaging with domestic and international brand owners to obtain long-term exclusivity for Endeavour Group.
  • Maintaining best-in-class relationships with exclusive brand owners and working with marketing teams to execute plans improving brand performances.
  • E nsuring Pinnacle has a short-, mid-, and long-term strategy for its own brands portfolio development.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree-qualified in Business or similar.
  • 5+ years Retail or FMCG buying experience.
  • Intermediate MS Office experience.
  • Knowledge of merchandising, sourcing, and manufacturing principles.
  • Strong Business Acumen, numerical, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication (written / verbal) and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a customer team.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Knowledgeable in Global and Domestic sourcing procedures and manufacturing of beer and wine.
  • A great understanding of Domestic and International supply chain.
  • Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A customer-centric attitude and a passion for the liquor industry.
